Advancement of Prosthetics
Our son was born in 2003 without a fully developed left hand. After exploring the field of prosthetics we realized that there are zillion ways to improve what’s out there. The problem is there is no money for R&D because there’s such a small market for products.

In 2006 I started working with an organization called the Open Prosthetics Project. Taking a queue from the open-source software industry, it is a collaboration among people from various industries and disciplines. These users, designers and philanthropists are beginning to produce useful and exciting innovations in the field of prosthetics.

We’ve created this site to keep our friends and family abreast of of the different projects we’re working on. As you browse around keep in mind a way that you or someone you know can lend their expertise.
