When Michael got his first “helping hand” my wife cried. It’s hard enough to have a child born without a hand and harder still to see them then fitted with some ugly monstrosity. The few infant hands on the market are sculpted with no aesthetic insight. I’m searching now for someone who can help to improve the appearance of the non-articulating prosthetic hands currently issued to infants--to sculpt a reproducible, infant hand that the movie industry might be proud of.
